V-150 Retrofit TNI
V-150 owned by the Army certainly has now been through a retrofit program in the Directorate of Equipment Workshop Equipment Center of the Army. Retrofitted components include the use of V6-Diesel engine 155 6 cylinder 4 stroke with power and torque 149 RPM BHP/3300 KGM/1900 39.2 RPM and speed provide the same capabilities as the original as well as the use of more fuel-efficient. V-150 retrofit automatic transmission Allison AT-545 4 speed, four forward one backward to provide comfort and convenience for the driver.
For comparison, the V-150 retrofit has roaming distance up to 800 km, while the original version is only 643 Km. The maximum speed of the V-150 retrofit reaches 89 km / h, while the V-150 version of the original maximum speed of 88.5 km / h.
V 150 also helped the restoration of security in Aceh, not a few members of GAM (Free Aceh Movement) are dying due to vomit perluru of these APCs. There are currently 150 known V are well placed to secure the Freeport mining complex in Papua
