South Korea's Doosan DST finally completed the production of armored vehicles weighing 18 tons Tarantula equipped canon 90 mm and 7.62-mm machine guns / 12.7 mm. Panzer Tarantula (Korean: Black Fox) is a 6-wheeled combat vehicles operated three people (driver, commander  shooters) who drove with a maximum speed of 100 km / h and 8 km / hour in the water.


According to Doosan DST, Panzer tarantulas have adapted to the natural conditions of Indonesia, so that made lighter and has the amphibious capability. With a 90mm cannon weapons and machine guns, Tarantula designed to be able to strike an opponent who has the full capability or fighting with enemy tanks. Panzer also has the ability guerrilla operations: search and destroy.

In 2009, the Army ordered armored vehicles Canon Tarantula to South Korea Doosan DST. 6 × 6 armored cars entered the operational test, test firing and field maneuvers test since November 2011. After passing inspection, the South Korean armored vehicles began to be produced in early 2012. Dated May 5, 2013, Doosan DST announced it has completed its production to be shipped to Indonesia.

At the same time, they are known as combat armored vehicles that can be operated for guerilla search and destroy operations.

Doosan DST also exported the K200A1 tracked armored vehicle to Malaysia for the first time in ROK history in 1993.
